Best Books I’ve Read in 2017 So Far

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted on The Broke and the Bookish.

This week’s theme is the best books you’ve read in 2017. Rather than getting super complicated with this, I’m going to keep it simple, and just list the best books I’ve read this year, since there have been some great ones.

Let’s get down to this, shall we? In no particular order…

25448932

I just finished this book last week, and I’m still so in love with this series. I can’t wait for the next book to come out so I can get more of this guilty pleasure.

This book was so fun! I loved getting a book about fandoms and science fiction and all sorts of things I love. It’s a pretty basic retelling, but it’s still fun.

This book was not at all what I had expected, but it was still really good. I loved how deception played into the story and how it all worked out.

Lindsey Stirling is amazing.

34808945

This book was so good! They’re such fantastic science fiction stories, and amazing adventures.

853510

Agatha Christie is the queen of mystery.

Dystopian books are kind of overdone these days, especially after the Hunger Games came out on film. But this was such a fun, unique idea that it could bring dystopian back and maybe even make them better.

This book is such an amazing picture of grief and coping. While I was disappointed in some aspects of the story, there were so many great things happening in this book.

28512486

I’m so disappointed that this series is over, but I loved these books so much. Such a fantastic world and I loved how it all wrapped up in the end.

Sarah Dessen’s books remind me of my teen years, even when they are new books coming out. While not the favourite one ever, it’s still so good.

What are the best books you’ve read this year? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I really enjoyed Caraval (that cover is to die for) and Geekerella! Both were so entertaining. I’ve never heard of ignite but I’m open to reading more dystopias. It’s been a while actually! It might be nice to make a brief return to that genre. I didn’t know Lindsey Stirling had a book! I LOVE her music, so I might just need to give her book a try 😀 Awesome list! 🙂
